COURSE DESCRIPTION:  Christian Apologetics is the branch of theology that deals with the defense of gospel.  It involves the work of convincing others to change their religious views.  As the Apostle Paul stood before King Agrippa and almost persuaded him to become a Christian, our job too is to earnestly contend for the faith without waving.  This class will equip the believer to stand guard and protect the integrity of God’s Word from the various cultural and spiritual influences.  But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear (1 Peter 3:15).  As you can see it is a command of God.

 

COURSE OBJECTIVES: 

1.      Understanding of Christian Apologetic

2.      Learn several techniques for defending the faith

3.      Understand the necessity of Pre-Evangelism

4. Understand the Four Arguments (Cosmological, Teleological, Axiological, Ontological) used to identify the existence of God

5.      Learn the Six Worldviews that opposes Christianity

6.      Learn about the inerrancy of God’s Word (Literature, History, Archeology, Science, Evolution & the Afterlife)

7.    Learn about Christianity’s superiority to other word religions (Jehovah-Witnesses – Mormonism – Buddhism – Islam – Hinduism)

8. Understand Philosophies: Eschatology | Soteriology | Anthropolgy  | Angelology & Demonology | Bibliology | Theology | Christology | Ecclesiology | Pneumotology
