I am a Soldier in the army of my God. The
Lord Jesus Christ is my Commanding Officer.
The Holy Bible is my code of conduct.
Faith, Prayer, and the Word of
God are my weapons of warfare. I have
been taught by the Holy Spirit, trained by experience, tried by adversity and
tested by fire.
I am a volunteer
in this army, and I am enlisted for eternity.
I will either retire in this army at the Rapture or die in this army at
the completion of my purpose; but neither death nor retirement will kill me, because
once I pass from this life to the next, my spirit will forever dwell with my
Commanding Officer.
I will not get
out, sell out, be talked out, or pushed out.
I am faithful, reliable, capable and dependable. If my God needs me, I am there. My motto is “Send me.”
I do not need to be petted up,
primed up, pumped up, picked up or pepped up.
No one has to call me, remind me, write me, visit me, entice me, or lure
me.
I am a Soldier. I am not a wimp.
I am in the
trenches, saluting my King, obeying His orders, praising His name, and building
His Kingdom, executing His will!
No one has to send
me flowers, gifts, food, cards, candy or give me worldly honors.
I do not need to
be cuddled, cradled, cared for, or catered to.
I am committed
under oath.
I cannot have my
feelings hurt bad enough to turn me around.
I cannot be discouraged enough to turn me aside. I cannot lose enough to cause me to quite.
When Jesus called
me into this army, I had nothing. If my
flesh dies today, I will have gained everything.
I am a warrior!
I will fight the
good fight of faith and I will win.
My God has and
will continue to supply all I need.
I am more than a
conqueror. I will always triumph. I can do all things through Christ.
Devil cannot
defeat me. People cannot disillusion
me. Weather cannot weary me. Sickness cannot stop me. Battles cannot beat me. Money cannot buy me. Governments cannot silence me and hell
cannot handle me.
I am a Soldier!
Even death cannot
destroy me. For when my Commander calls
me from this battlefield, He will promote me to Captain and then allow me to
rule with Him.
I am a soldier in the army of the Lord ~ marching forward and claiming victory.
I will not give
up. I will not retreat.
I am a soldier
marching heaven bound.
Here in Christ is
where I STAND!
The only question remaining is ~ which part
of the service are you in:
1.) Active Duty:
Serving the Lord faithfully, on duty 24-7?
2.) Reserve Status: Serving only when call upon or
twice a year.
3.) Guard Status:
Backing up the Active Duty group?
4.) CME Status:
Serving on Christmas, Mother’s Day and Easter?
5.) AWOL!
Absent With~Out the Lord?
2 Timothy
2:3-4
3. Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good
soldier of Jesus Christ.
4. No man that warreth entangleth himself with
the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a
soldier.
