When one comes to God – he or she must come heart first and your heart must be pure. Please read and memorize Psalms139: 23-24 and Psalm 51
Search me oh God, and know my heart, try me and know my thoughts. And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me into the way everlasting.
Now, please keep in mind that you are a tri-part being (body – soul – spirit). Once you became born again the only thing that became save was your spirit. It was reborn or as Paul put it in Ephesians - it was quicken {made alive}. Now your mind has to be transformed and your body must be brought into subjection (Rom. 12:1-2 & I Corinthians 9:24-27)
…but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind…..
You must saturate you mind with the word of God and bring your flesh-man under subjection to the word of God. Please understand that time is drawing near and Jesus is soon to come. I’m reminded of a quote I heard from a dear friend of mine "God is about to perform a mighty shaken and you just make sure that the ground you’re standing on is Holy!" Yes, this is the Grace Dispensation but let me pose a question to you as Paul did to the congregation at Rome , “Shall you continue in sin that grace may abound? – God forbid!”
If we desire to be used by God then we are going to have to position ourselves to be used by him. What do you mean brother Rickey? It’s simple. We must Obey! These are the types of folks that God is going to raise up and use in these latter days.
Now, we know that Jesus has already won the war but we are to enforce what He has accomplished for us. – Read Eph. Chapters 1 & 2.
Let us represent our Heavenly Kingdom. Check out the way you speak, the way you walk, and the way you live - then ask yourself this question… Am I doing justice to the Kingdom of Heaven? Am I truly Heaven’s representative? Am I changing the world or am I allowing the world to change me? Why is it that I do what I do? And when I do them am I seeking man’s approval or God’s approval? In other words, is my heart pure or am I trying to impress others?
You see, I always say that man doesn’t have a heaven or a hell to put you in. Now, if you live your whole life here on planet earth trying to please man, then you can rest assured that one day the rapture will come and you and perhaps the person you were trying to please will be left behind.
Don’t Compromise! It’s Not Worth it!
