“Hell Is Real!”

THE BIBLE PRESENTS HELL, JUST LIKE HEAVEN, AS A REAL PLACE.  A PLACE CREATED TO SERVE AS THE DESTINY OF THE DEVIL AND HIS ANGELS BUT ALSO FOR THOSE PEOPLE WHO REJECT THE GRACE AND MERCY OF GOD AND HAS INSTEAD FOLLOWED AFTER SATAN.

(Matt. 25:41 & Matt 25:46)

Hell is described in the scripture as a place of darkness and sadness (Matt. 22:13), a place of fire (Matt. 5:22), a place of torment (Rev. 14:10), a place of destruction (Matt 7:13), and a place of disgrace and everlasting contempt (Dan. 12:2).

Let’s see how things radically changed in the Under World after Jesus died:

Well, Jesus descended into Paradise and declared to all the spirits {saints} his triumph over Satan through the shedding of His blood for the sins of Mankind (I Peter 3:18-19; 4:6).

The Bible also indicates that after His resurrection, when he ascended to Heaven, Jesus took the people from Paradise with Him, transferring the spirits of the righteous dead to Heaven (Eph. 4:8-9).  The picture of the righteous dead are thereafter pictured as being in Heaven before the throne of God (Rev. 6:9 and 7:9).

Now, the souls of the unrighteous dead will remain in Hell until the end of the millennial reign of Jesus.  At that time they will be resurrected and judged at the Great White Throne judgment as seen in Revelations 20:11-15.  And yes, judged according to their works, and since no person can be justified before God by works (Eph. 2:8-10), all the unrighteous will be cast into the “lake of fire” (Rev. 20:14).

How Long Will It Last?  FOREVER!

Hell exists because God cannot be mocked (Gal 6:7).  He is going to deal with sin in one or two ways – by grace or by wrath (John 3:36)

THE REALITY OF HELL

The truth is – as I have stressed so many times – your eternal destiny is in your hands.  You can choose life by receiving Jesus and following His commands. Or, you can choose eternal destruction by refusing to accept God’s gift of love and grace.  I urge you to choose life by accepting the Lord Jesus Christ (Deut 30:15-19)

The Antidote: John 14:6 & Romans 10:9-10    -  Just Remember that without the shedding of blood there can be no remission of sin.
