Dear Saints of the Most High,
First, let me say that it is an
honor and a privilege to be able to share my heart with you all regarding this
present state. Have you ever heard the quote, "Married folks want to be
Single and Single folks want to be Married?" I'm sure you have. But
what happened to enjoying life right where you are? I have discovered
already in my short tenure of time here on planet earth that there is a time and
a season for all things. And guess what? For the time period within
that season there's a purpose to be perform. Now, if I'm wasting all of my
time thinking about the next season, some things in this present season will not
get done. Paul says, somehow in the midst of all I've been through, life has
taught me an invaluable lesson. He says, I have learn (process
requiring growth) to be content. In other words, this will not happen
all at once. But when you've walk with God long enough, you too will learn
that "can't nobody do you like Jesus."
So, while I
am in this present state my posture should be that I am constantly in high
pursuit of God accomplishing His purpose and fulfilling His will for my life.
Would I love to get married? Absolutely Yes! Would I like to have a child
or two some day? Sure. Do I at times find struggle in this flesh? Yes!
Having said all of that, my ultimate desire and passion to please Him overrides
my temporary desire to please my flesh.
Final point -
When God finally brought Eve to Adam, Adam was not a lonely man. He was
alone but not lonely and there's a significant difference between the two.
While loneliness suggests feeling sorrowful and unfulfilled {woe is me},
alone on the contrary adamantly proclaims one of a kind - one species - one
type. Eve came along by the divine will of God not to give Adam
significance {he received that from God} but was introduced on the scene
to assist him in accomplishing a mandate from God that he could never accomplish
in and of himself! So, now answer me a few questions - for those of you
who are in high pursuit of a mate - Why do you want/need your mate? Do you
know who you are? How significant are you by yourself? If you are
waiting on someone, just know that there's not a human being released from heaven
that can satisfy and fulfill your every need. What's your God given
purpose and what visions have you laid out for others to follow?
